Clent Mitchell better known as “islands” a Caribbean based Producer specifically from the Island of St.Lucia, was first introduced to the public in December 2018 via Islands’ participation in a local competition called “Youth fest”, where he not only captured the win in his category, but also the overall YouthStar title with his stunning performance.

Islands is synonymous with the production powerhouse “The Audio Lab” which has worked with 90% of the local music industry producing, and writing despite the fact that Islands has been producing for a little over 2 and a half years. His self taught understanding of music is remarkable helping him secure many accolades thus far as a result of focus and long working hours succeeding 18 hours everyday religiously perfecting the craft of music production and also engineering (Mixing and Mastering).

This young talent found his love for music from his parents, coming from a musical back ground where his dad was the founder of one of the leading bands in his country. This being said islands puts his “island” boy mixed cultured flavor into his music, producing a ride range of genres namely dancehall, afrobeats, reggaeton, trap, hip hop reggae, the list goes on where his forté being a unique cross cultured sound of Dancehall, Reggaeton and afrobeats as a result islands is said to the new face of music production from the Caribbean being consistent, hardworking and self motivated in the near future.
